Welcome Home Ministries, directed by Rod and Linda Price, ministers to children whose families are in crisis and cannot presently care for them. Many families in your own community can not nurture their own children due to problems such as illness, addiction, violence, joblessness and incarceration.
This program is based on the following two scriptures: Mark 9:37 He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, He said to them "whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name, welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."
James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and keep oneself from being pulled by the world.
Mission Welcome Home Ministries will fulfill God's command to care for the orphans by coming alongside families in crisis and providing care for their children, thus demonstrating to the church how to fulfill this command, and demonstrate the love of God to the community.
Vision To further the earthly Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ witnessing His love to all we come in contact with.
To enlighten the church, the body of Christ, to the biblical mandate to care for the widows and orphans and demonstrate God's love to the community.
To come alongside families in crisis and be the family and neighbor to them that they do not have, just as the good Samaritan did to the man on the road. To care for the children for as long as necessary and provide resources to keep families together when possible.
To partner with other ministries to provide services to the parents in crisis so they can heal and be able to parent their own children.
